RESIGNATION

You can forcefully resign from the military, and here are the steps below.

Resignation Process

Understanding the procedures and notice requirements for military resignation.

Resignation from the Ukraine Army Organization is governed by military regulations that ensure an orderly transition for both the service member and the unit. Whether you are seeking voluntary resignation, medical discharge, or reaching the end of your service term, our resignation process is structured to protect your rights while preserving operational continuity.

Voluntary resignation requires a minimum notice period of 90 days for officers and 30 days for enlisted personnel. This allows sufficient time for command to process your request, arrange for replacement personnel, and complete all administrative requirements including final pay settlement, equipment return, and benefits transition.

Medical discharge applications must be accompanied by certified medical evaluations from authorized military healthcare providers. End of service resignations are processed automatically upon completion of the contracted service period, provided all exit clearance requirements are satisfied. All resignation types require a formal exit interview and documentation of outstanding obligations.
