The Ukraine Army Organization recognizes marriage as a significant milestone in the lives of our service members and is committed to supporting personnel through this transition. Military marriage benefits include housing allowances, dependent support programs, extended leave for wedding arrangements, and access to family counseling services designed to strengthen relationships during and after active service.
To qualify for military marriage benefits, personnel must be on active duty or in authorized reserve status at the time of application. All marriages must be registered in accordance with Ukrainian civil law, and international marriages require additional documentation verifying legal recognition in the country of origin. Personnel are encouraged to notify their commanding officer at least 30 days prior to the intended marriage date.
Required documentation includes a valid military identification card, birth certificates for both parties, proof of single status or divorce decree where applicable, and passport copies for non-Ukrainian spouses. Processing of marriage benefits typically takes 10 to 15 business days upon receipt of a complete application package.
