Understanding the conditions and procedures for deployment declination.
Personnel may request declination or deferment from assigned deployment under specific qualifying conditions recognized by the Ukraine Army Organization. This process exists to protect the welfare of our service members while maintaining the integrity of our operational commitments. All requests are reviewed with strict confidentiality and evaluated by the appropriate command authority.
Valid conditions for declination include verified medical conditions that prevent deployment readiness, documented family emergencies requiring immediate and sustained presence, recognized hardship circumstances, and other exceptional situations approved by command review. Each case is assessed individually with consideration given to both personnel welfare and unit operational requirements.
Submission of falsified information or failure to provide adequate supporting documentation will result in automatic denial and may subject the applicant to disciplinary proceedings under military regulations. Ensure all supporting documents are authentic, current, and directly relevant to your declared reason for declination.
